Nearly 200 tons of concrete for rainwater management

This time, truly heavy machinery was at work at the Signature Kolovraty construction site. We installed the individual parts of a shared rainwater retention tank with a capacity of 128 m³ into the ground. The tank consists of seven concrete elements that arrived at the site all the way from Brno and together weigh almost 200 tons.

Their precise installation was carried out by a special crane with a lifting capacity of up to 80 tons, which arrived from Hranice na Moravě. There are only a few such machines in the entire Czech Republic, making the realization itself quite an exceptional spectacle on the construction site.

In addition to the shared tank, individual rainwater retention cisterns, each with a capacity of 5 m³, have already been prepared for all plots. The collected rainwater will be further used, for example, for watering the greenery, thus contributing to more sustainable water management in the entire area. After the earthworks are completed, the implementation of road infrastructure will follow. The completion of this stage is planned for the end of November.

In the Signature Kolovraty project, only the last two plots with family houses currently remain.
