Mortgage rates are rising

Interest in mortgages has dropped significantly. In January, banks and building societies provided mortgage loans worth 32.6 billion crowns, which is more than a quarter decrease compared to December. The CBA estimates that the mortgage market will slow down significantly this year. The average interest rate at the beginning of the year was 3.4%, but current offers are already between 4 and 5%.
